nucleus changes with the KDE4 repo
On one blog I found interesting information that a group of enthusiasts founded the repo from which you can download pre-compiled for KDE4 OpenSolaris, without the need to compile from source or unnecessary digging in the configuration.
not yet checked the repo, but I would listen to opinions of people that it worked:)
Here we go:
1 - Add the following repositories to the IPS, or through the console:
pfexec pkg set-authority-O http:/ / solaris.bionicmutton.org: 10001 / bionicmutton
2 - Refresh the repository using:
pfexec pkg refresh bionicmutton
3 - Somewhat later, you need to install kdebase
pfexec pkg install kdebase-apps-integration KDEgdm
After the surgery, you can log in to KDE
worth noting is that there are as many as 3 repositories with different versions of KDE4:
http://solaris.bionicmutton.org:10001/ version 4.3 .1
http://solaris.bionicmutton.org:10002/ version
03/04/1980 03/04/1985 http://solaris.bionicmutton.org:10003/ version
Have fun;)
